The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with the 5k Trail Run, which climbs the hills overlooking the Pacific. The 10k leaves a few minutes later and follows the ridgeline along Whispering Hills Trail and returns to the Las Ramblas Trailhead. The Mountain Bike Poker Ride begins at 9:30 a.m. for a non-timed trail ride to five stops to pick a playing card. The best poker hand at the end of the ride wins a GPS system for bikers or hikers, donated by Buy My Bikes. Mountain bike teams are also encouraged. The team with the best poker hand wins dinner and a movie for two at Vito’s Pizza and Italian Ristorante and VIP seating at San Juan’s Regency Theatre.
On-site registration opens at 6 a.m.
