Seen by millions of people in over 60 countries, "Cosmos: A Personal Voyage" and hosted by science popularizer and humanist, Dr. Carl Sagan, comes to the Big Screen. The episode 'One Voice in the Cosmic Fugue' unfolds the formation of our species on earth and speculates on possible life forms on other planets all having a common origin. Doctor Sagan takes us on a wondrous tour of the galaxies and brings us back to earth peering down the lens of a microscope to observe the nucleus of a cell and the architecture of DNA. Professor Tyler Nordgren, an astronomer from the University of Redlands and noted author, will present the episode and provide an update on evolutionary discoveries since the series first aired in 1980.
