Vermiculture: Putting Worms to Work class

Worms feed on decomposed vegetable or food waste and junk mail, which produces vermicast—worm manure that provides a rich addition to your garden’s soil. 

Claudia Niccola of the Tea House on Los Rios will show students how to raise their own worms in their bins. The class is from 10 a.m. to noon.

Bring gloves. Worms and bins will be available for sale.
