Flood Advisory Friday: Turn Around, Don't Drown, NWS Says
BREAKING: A flood advisory was issued for Orange County Friday, Jan. 20. until 4:30 p.m.

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued an Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Orange County in southwestern California until 4:30 p.m.
At just before 10:45 a.m. Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain which will likely cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area.
Up to one inch of rain has already fallen during the past 12 hours in some areas.

Of special concern is the steep terrain on the western slopes of the Santa Ana mountains where mud slides and debris flows will be possible.
The Silverado burn scar and areas downhill will be most at risk.
