Gas Prices in Orange County, San Juan Capistrano Report Increase

Gas prices have risen one cent after dropping for 39 days in Orange County. What's your best price in San Juan Capistrano?

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CAโ€”The Orange County average price recorded its largest increase since June 25 today, rising 1 cent to $2.614. It had dropped for 39 consecutive days, rose one-tenth of a cent on Monday then decreased four-tenths of a cent on Tuesday to its lowest amount since March 10.

The Orange County average price is 2.9 cents less than one week ago, 27.9 cents lower than one month ago and $1.176 below what it was one year ago.

A 42-day streak of decreases ended today when the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose four-tenths of a cent to $2.638.

The average price dropped 34.4 cents during the streak to its lowest amount since March 10, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The streak was the longest since one lasting 92 days from Oct. 2, 2014-Jan. 1, 2015.

The average price is 3.3 cents less than one week ago, 26.7 cents lower than one month ago and $1.196 below what it was one year ago.
