Groundhog's Day 2017: Did Punxsutawney Phil See His Shadow?

In the gray hills of Pennsylvania, the large rodent known to all as Punxsutawny Phil made his 131st appearance, thanks to the Punxsutawny Groundhog Club.

"He has spoken!" the club members shouted to a record breaking crowd on Feb. 2, 2017.

The handlers of Pennsylvania's most famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, said the furry rodent has "predicted" six more weeks of winter after seeing his shadow at dawn Thursday.

Punxsutawney Phil was made famous by Bill Murray in the movie "Groundhog Day."
