Hop On A Free Trolley For SJC's Upcoming 'Spring Eggstravaganza'
San Juan Capistrano's free trolley service returns for the annual "Spring Eggstravaganza," and residents are encouraged to jump aboard.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — The season of Easter is upon us, San Juan Capistrano, and the city wants to help you and your family celebrate the spring. The City of San Juan Capistrano is hosting its "Spring Eggstravaganza" event at Los Rios Park April 9, and residents are invited to stop by and join in on the celebration.
The event is geared toward children and will include free activities such as: egg hunts, face painting, puppet shows, crafts, games and bunny photos. Attendees will also enjoy a free petting zoo and an inflatable bounce house.
San Juan Capistrano residents can skip the drive to Los Rios Park, as the city announced that its free trolley service will be up and running again in time for the event.

This move comes after the annual Swallows Day trolley service exceeded minimum requirements under the Orange County Transportation Authority grant program, which funds the service.
The trolley service runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include two 20-minute loops, which service San Juan Capistrano communities north and south of the downtown area and Los Rios Park.
