Introducing the 2014/2015 MBS Student Council Elected Officers!

These dedicated 6th through 8thΒ graders were elected into their Executive Board positions after a rigorous campaign process that included submitting a petition for their office, creating unique campaign posters, delivering a speech to the entire student body and winning the popular vote by their peers from grades 4thΒ through 8th. Β MBS Student Council is an excellent opportunity for students to foster their leadership abilities during their yearlong commitment. Β Β Student Council members are required to maintain stellar conduct and high academic grades as well as be strong role models for the entire school community. A wonderful aspect of MBS Student Council is that all 6th, 7th and 8th graders are invited to become a part of the Student Council team as Members at Large. Β All of these dedicated leaders, under the advisement of faculty mentors Karen Prukop and Andrea Navaira are responsible for such projects as: the New Student Luncheon, charity fundraisers, the Western Day Carnival, Color Guard and Valet services, just to name a few.Β

The MBS Student Council motto is β€œKeep Calm and Lead On!”
