Introducing the 2014/2015 MBS Student Council Elected Officers!

These dedicated 6th through 8th graders were elected into their Executive Board positions after a rigorous campaign process that included submitting a petition for their office, creating unique campaign posters, delivering a speech to the entire student body and winning the popular vote by their peers from grades 4th through 8th.  MBS Student Council is an excellent opportunity for students to foster their leadership abilities during their yearlong commitment.   Student Council members are required to maintain stellar conduct and high academic grades as well as be strong role models for the entire school community. A wonderful aspect of MBS Student Council is that all 6th, 7th and 8th graders are invited to become a part of the Student Council team as Members at Large.  All of these dedicated leaders, under the advisement of faculty mentors Karen Prukop and Andrea Navaira are responsible for such projects as: the New Student Luncheon, charity fundraisers, the Western Day Carnival, Color Guard and Valet services, just to name a few.

The MBS Student Council motto is “Keep Calm and Lead On!”
