JSerra Catholic High School Appoints Director of Advancement
On Friday, JSerra Catholic High School announced their appointment for the new Director of Advancement.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Ashley Farrington has been appointed as Director of Advancement at JSerra Catholic High School, effective March 19, 2018. After an extensive national search, the selection was made by Richard Meyer, President of JSerra.
Farrington comes to JSerra after several years at Santa Clara University, most recently serving as a major gifts officer in the Southern California region and securing gifts between $100K and $1M. She possesses extensive experience in all areas of development, including special events management, volunteer engagement, and frontline fundraising at the annual and major giving levels.
Stemming from a long line of educators, her background in education has allowed her to understand the many challenges and opportunities that Catholic schools face today. She has demonstrated a capability for effective leadership that will advance the mission and needs of the school while making the experience sustainable for generations of Lions to follow.

In announcing Ms. Farrington’s new role at JSerra, President Meyer said, “Ashley will be a tremendous asset to our school community. She is committed to her Catholic faith, understands the mission of our school, and will be an important member of JSerra’s leadership team. Her proven expertise will help JSerra to realize many of our ambitious goals as a school, in both the near and long-term.”
Prior to her tenure at Santa Clara, Farrington worked in corporate sales and for several non-profit organizations in San Francisco and Chicago, including the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and the Arthritis Foundation. During this period, she held various leadership positions and managed key donor
portfolios, building public support and awareness to effectively secure gifts at the individual and corporate levels.

Driven by her desire to contribute to the personal and spiritual development of young lives, Farrington

Farrington and her husband, Ian, reside in San Juan Capistrano with their young daughter.
