July 26, 2017 Capistrano Unified BOT Meeting Agenda Item #4

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR, PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, FIELD SERVICE AND MASTER CONTRACT AGREEMENTS:

Trustees are being asked to approve a Back to School lunch for 225 employees that will cost the District $6,800. Is that OK with Taxpayers?

I know that no one wants to watch School Boards - but under "Local Control" they have they power to tax. We were lucky to avoid an $889 million dollar school facilities Bond which would have affected the ability of our local county and Cities to borrow money. That is why Jerry Brown is not releasing the Prop 51 Bond Funds - it will bankrupt the State and we already know that these monies are not spent as they should be. So People really need to watch what CUSD is doing financially to protect our children, our quality of life and our Cities. CUSD does everything on the Consent Calendar to hide things like the Gifting of Public Assets to the Ranch by agreeing to over pay for the land to purchase Esencia K-8 School Site- The following are some additional questionable spending decisions that will be voted on at the July 26, 2017 BOT meeting.
