Learn How To Craft Remembrance Gardens in San Juan Capistrano

This free workshop is on Sept. 11 — residents with or without a green thumb are encouraged to participate.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — San Juan Capistrano residents interested in learning how to craft a remembrance garden for a deceased loved one — whether it be a family member, friend or pet — may want to join a free workshop this Saturday, hosted by Goin Native.

Goin Native is an organization committed to supporting wellness in their surrounding communities by teaching residents how to garden. At this free workshop, San Juan Capistrano residents will be mentored by Goin Native volunteers on how to design and maintain their remembrance garden.

Experience isn't necessary to attend — and neither is a green thumb, the workshop runs from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Reata Park, 28632 Ortega Hwy.
