Two weeks ago the 6th grade boys basketball team defeated Saddleback Valley Christian 37 to 15. Aidan Prukop scored 20 points, Riley Sullivan scored 5, Cory Hirose scored 4 and Matthew Real, Patrick Leavey, Joshua Quenga and Jacob Holcombe each scored 2. Great defense was played by Jorge Velasquez, Matthew and Jacob. Swallows Win!
On Thursday, the long winning streak for the 6th grade boys finally came to an end. Aliso Viejo Christian defeated Mission by only 3 points. The final score was 26 to 29. Aidan scored 20 points, Riley came in with 4 and Patrick scored 2. Cory had some impressive blocks and everyone played great defense. Better luck next time boys!
Last Thursday Mission 6th defeated Our Lady of Fatima 35 - 24. Great defensive pressure from Matthew and Jorge was seen. Multiple rebounds from Riley, Jacob, Josh and Patrick helped greatly. Aidan scored 22 points, Riley sored 4, Cory scored 5 and Josh and Jacob each scored 2. Swallows Win!!
