MBS Celebrates Earth Day!

The MBS Go Green parent committee sponsored a fun afternoon celebrating Earth Day. With the assistance of 8th graders, students in grades K-7 enjoyed an afternoon learning how to use recycled materials to make bird feeders and planters. Students then wrote their own Earth Day Pledge and agreed upon a Class Pledge. Class Pledges were shared at the Monday Morning Prayer Assembly. The pledges included the following:

·      Using reusable water bottles

·      Turning off lights

·      Using both sides of a piece of paper

At Mission Basilica School going green is fun!
