The Girls B team played two hard fought games last week. In their season opener Mission dominated most of the game and had a good lead. Unfortunately Fatima made a strong comeback and tied the game in the second half. Fatima ended up winning in the last few minutes of the game with a break away basket. The final score was 12 - 14. Great defense was made by the whole team. Baskets were made by Teresa Mendoza, Antonia Abrams and Gracie Houlihan.
Mid week the MBS girls played St. Catherine's and it was another good game. The first basket of the game was made by Karleigh Hirose. Mission played a tough game and the score was close the entire time. At the end of the game, the score was tied at 6-6 and they played three minutes of OT. Unfortunately St. Catherine's scored and ended up winning 8-6. Baskets were made by Karleigh and Antonia Abrams. Some great defense was made by all, specifically McKenna Bradley Gabriella Talerico.
Last Monday ouf Girls A basketball team played Our Lady of Fatima and won 19-10. Everyone had a great game and they all passed well. Sofia Vaquerano scored 5 points, Racquelle Vellandi scored 6 points, Kellan Jenner, Julia Delamare and Jennifer McFadden also added to the scoreboard. Swallows Win!!
