Mission School students in Kindergarten through 8th grade participate in yearly class retreats. The retreats cover a variety of topics that provide the students with a safe place to grow in their faith as they journey to become faith-filled Catholics. Some retreat topics are: “God Makes All Things New”, “The Joyful Mysteries”, “The Ten Commandments” and “Let Go, Let God”. The fourth grade recently traveled to the Heart of Jesus Retreat Center, which is run by the Sisters of the Society Devoted to the Sacred Heart. The students enjoyed a day of reflection and learning about vocations. A favorite memory for the fourth graders each year is playing volleyball with the Sisters.
