This past week the focus of Catholic Schools Week at Mission Basilica School was “Celebrating Our Faith”. The week kicked off with the students celebrating Sunday Mass in the Basilica proudly wearing their school uniforms. Student representatives from each class processed up the aisle holding a symbol of their class service project. Open House saw standing room only classrooms with parents, students and prospective families in awe of the wonderful things happening at MBS. On Monday morning the students thanked our wonderful priests who give so much to the parish and school. Student Council President, Allison Agbayani presented Monsignor Art with a spiritual bouquet from the entire student body. The students dedicated 81 masses, 109 sacrifices, 139 rosaries and 209 prayers for Monsignor Art. The week continued with daily events celebrating faith, academics and family culminating in the very popular Family Picnic on Friday.
At MBS we are committed to academic excellence rooted in Catholic values and traditions. For a tour of the school and additional information, please contact the school office at 234-1385, ext. 2.
