The Mission Basilica School Boy Scouts from Pack 13 made cash donations to three local charities at a recent Morning Prayer Assembly. The boys decided that this year their profits from the yearly popcorn sales would go to help others and voted on which groups would be the recipients. These scouts proudly presented checks for $300.00 to Canine Angels, Boys and Girls Club of Capistrano Valley and Serra’s Pantry. Canine Angels raises and trains exceptional dogs for children with special needs. Boys and Girls Club offers morning and afternoon programs for youth ages 7 – 18. Serra’s pantry provides food and services for the needy. Mission Basilica School is so proud of these scouts and their leaders for making a difference!
