Mission Hospital Foundation Board Donates to Thrift 'N Gift

One of the ways Mission Hospital cares for south Orange County is through our Thrift ‘N Gift store in San Juan Capistrano. Every item donated to Thrift ‘N Gift provides resources for underserved members of our community.

Look around your house or office and find some gently used items to donate. Suggestions
include: furniture, clothing, handbags, jewelry and home décor. If you have a large item that
can’t easily be transported to Thrift ‘N Gift, we can pick up the item at your home or office. To
request a pick-up please contact Thrift ‘N Gift Manager Lois Lyons at (949) 487-9727.

The Mission Hospital Foundation Board of Directors recently held a Donation Day for Thrift ‘N
Gift and gathered a truck filled with lovely items. If your company would like to host a Donation
Day, please give Lois Lyons a call.

The proceeds from Thrift ‘N Gift benefit Camino Health Center, Family Resource Centers in San
Juan Capistrano and Lake Forest, and St. Joseph Hospice Program at Mission Hospital. Thrift
‘N Gift has been supporting the Mission Hospital community since 1998 and has raised more
than $1.2 million to support those in need.

Thrift ‘N Gift is also looking for volunteers to help in store. A range of days and times are
available. Stop by the store, located at 31892 Plaza Drive in San Juan Capistrano, to fill out an
application.
