SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA โ Thursday, Sept. 29 is National Coffee Day and with it, great deals on coffee are to be had at all of your favorite brew-stops. Do you run on Dunkin'? Or are you a Peets Coffee kind of coffee drinker? or do you still Starbucks? Is Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf your spot? or is a brand new place like Bean or Augies more your style?
Whether a hole in the wall or a national chain, here's what's happening for you hipster coffee drinkers out there.
Dunkin' Donuts: Celebrating 66 years of its signature coffee, Dunkin's National Coffee Day deal is a medium-sized hot coffee for 66 cents. They're also bringing back the Coffee Day Snapchat Geofilter design. It's available for just one day and can be unlocked at any of Dunkin' Donutsโ U.S. locations.

Krispy Kreme: Visit Krispy Kreme for a free original glazed doughnut and a free 12-ounce cup of coffee at all participating locations.
Keurig.com: On Thursday Sept. 29 through Sunday Oct. 2, Keurig.com will offer maximum coffee deals online. Customers will get 20-percent off Green Mountain Coffee K-cups and Original Donut Shop Coffee, also. Use coupon code GREENSAVINGS at checkout.

Peet's Coffee: Participating locations of Peet's Coffee will give a free medium drip coffee with purchase of any food item.
Finally, if you've heard the news about "coffee tree rust" and the devastation it has had on coffee farmers, you may want to head to your local Starbucks.
Starbucks: Starbucks across the nation will offer "coffee for a cause" on National Coffee Day. Thinking long term, Starbucks is raising funds to donate coffee trees to help fight coffee rust in Latin America.
On National Coffee Day, Starbucks will plant one tree for each purchase of fresh brewed Mexico Chiapas coffee at 13,500 Starbucks locations. The goal of the operation is 20 million new coffee trees to be planted by the end of 2016.
Starbucks is battling the coffee rust by donating enough to plant 18-million rust resistant coffee trees in one year, according to their website.
And remember, if you see a Helpful Honda Person hanging out around your local coffee shop?
Chances are, they're there to buy you a cup of joe.
