Roadwork on both sides of La Pata Avenue near Ortega Highway this afternoon snarled traffic from San Juan Hills High.
Forget the Ortega Highway interchange at the I-5 as a bottleneck, the real action -- or rather, inaction -- is going on at Ortega and La Pata Avenue.
Parents traveling from San Juan Hills High School reported a five-minute commute growing exponentially Monday when road work on both sides of La Pata brought traffic to a crawl.
