OC Health Care Agency Offers Free COVID Vaccine In SJC Wednesday

To get a vaccine, all residents need to do is bring a form of identification and visit Capistrano Union High School from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — San Juan Capistrano residents interested in getting vaccinated against COVID-19 can attend a free mobile vaccine clinic Wednesday at Capistrano Union High School.

The clinic is hosted by the Orange County Health Care Agency, and workers onsite will be delivering Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Those interested in receiving a free vaccine are asked to bring a form of identification. Photo identification is preferred, but other forms will be accepted. According to the OC Health Care Agency, proof of citizenship or legal status is not required for a vaccine.

The OC Health Care Agency also asks residents with insurance to bring their insurance card.

Minors ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian if they wish to get vaccinated.

The mobile vaccination clinic accepts walk-ins, but interested residents can also call the OC Health Care Agency hotline at (714)-834-2000 to schedule an appointment.
