Orange County Fire Authority marks the 18th anniversary of 9/11 with the dedication of a 5-foot steel beam at their Irvine training center.

IRVINE, CA — On the 18th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Orange County Fire Authority is dedicating a steel beam from the World Trade Center towers.

"The beam was donated to OCFA, and will sit prominently in the lobby of the Regional Fire Operations Training Center," Capt. Jon Muir said.

The beam serves as a reminder of the 2,977 men, women and children who were killed in the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and aboard Flight 93 that crashed in a Pennsylvania field.
