OCFA Shows What Happens when you Call 9-1-1

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Orange County Fire Authority is showing the people behind the scenes with the their recent video. In your emergency, they will instruct you on what to do to care for your loved one until help arrives.

The dispatch operators are specially trained to instruct about CPR and other emergency first aid.

"Firefighter paramedics will be on scene in less than seven minutes," according to the video.

"We're first to serve," the dispatcher says.
