PHOTOS: New Tract Is Now Open

For the first time in five years, people interested in living in San Juan Capistrano can check out a new housing tract.

Woodbridge Pacific Group is showing three of four models that make up its Part 1 of Phase 1. Part 1 is only eight homes, and once those are sold, the company will build out the rest, 62 homes, of the 70-home first phase.

The Planning Commission on Tuesday gave Woodbridge Pacific Group permission Tuesday to temporarily place flags and signs around and leading up to the community, which is off of La Pata Avenue.

Woodbridge President Todd Cunningham told Patch the homes will sell in the $700,000-$875,000 range. Homes as large as 3,800 square feet, they have flexible garage space to hold up to five cars, depending on model.

The homes are open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday-Sunday, 1-5 p.m. on Mondays.
