Pirates and Tall Ships to Invade the Harbor this Weekend

Calling all scallywags: It's time for the 28th Annual Toshiba Tall Ships Festival in Dana Point.

On Saturday and Sunday, the will host the largest annual gathering of tall ships on the West Coast.

Bring the family down to the harbor to enjoy the majesty and wonder of ships that will take you back in time.

There will also be interactive living-history encampments, including blacksmiths and scrimshaw artists. And what's a show without the Port Royal Privateers to entertain and amaze guests of all ages?

Participating tall ships typically include the brig Pilgrim, Spirit of Dana Point, Californian, Curlew, Exy Johnson, Irving Johnson, and the American Pride. But that is subject to change.
