
When CUSD votes to give CUEA its 8% raise- the State's Promise to It's Public Employees will be Fulfilled.
Now Depending on the economy and generocity of taxpayers students will not see any recovery until 2021. This may be as good as it gets for students according to the State's plan to take care of the economic interests of employees before the educational needs of students.

The State once again, plans to hold our children hostage for another round of tax increases and bonds.
This Wednesday April13, 2016 the CUSD Board of Trustees will vote to give CUEA it's final wish before most of our great, experienced teachers retire and are replaced with new inexperienced teachers at 1/2 the cost. The savings will be used to pay for the increased CalSTRS and CalPERS expenses that are being passed down to Districts from the State.

Knowing that CUSD funding will be flat for 14 years - how can Trustees, in good faith vote for the 4th straight year of compensation increases; and do so, at the expense of our students?
