Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park Management Solidified For Future

San Juan Capistrano city councilmembers voted to initiate a negotiation with The Ridland Group for the long-term management of the park.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — After months of deliberation, the City of San Juan Capistrano finally narrowed down the competition for long-term operations of the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park to the Ridland Group, the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park reported Wednesday.

In a unanimous 5-0 vote during Tuesday's city council meeting, the dais agreed to move forward into negotiations with the group in order to finalize management details of the park for the next 20-30 years.

“We’re committed to being at the forefront of making the facility and equestrian sport as environmentally friendly as possible,” said Hillary Ridland. “We have secured the funding to complete the needed water infrastructure work and look forward to continuing to make The Riding Park better and even more accessible for the community as a whole.”
