Ready to be part of the solution? (Sat. Jun, 06)

Join us at The Ecology Center for a FREE Home, Garden & Food Sustainable Solutions Guided Tour / Volunteer Orientation

We are an environmental educational center whose purpose is to engage the entire family in fun, hands-on activities that teach practical, environmental solutions. Our goal is to inspire positive change to the environment of Southern California.

Join us for a guided tour of our historic home, built by pony express rider Joel Congdon in 1878. Browse our Tools for Change shop with ecologically minded resources and products. Engage with sustainable solutions in The Eco-Labs, our outdoor interpretive learning stations in the areas of water, food, waste, shelter and energy. Understand how you can take positive action towards a healthier community and environment!

You can learn more about our exciting volunteer program. There are opportunities to support and share your skills during private events and school field trips. Help in the garden, care for chickens, maintain healthy compost systems, assist in the general store, or engage in administration and clerical work. Every bit counts!

The Ecology Center is a non-profit educational center that teaches hands-on environmental solutions at the household and community scale. Your participation supports our programs and our mission to inspire and create a healthy and sustainable future for all.

*Become an Advocate of The Ecology Center to receive member discounts. Plus, after you complete 5 workshops and 5 eco actions, you are eligible to receive 1 free workshop! Join Us
