San Diego State University Head Football Coach Rocky Long offered Ben Sukut an opportunity to fulfill the dream of a lifetime, to become a Division 1 football player. San Diego State University Head Football Coach Rocky Long offered Ben Sukut an opportunity to fulfill the dream of a lifetime, to become a Division 1 football player. After Sunday’s 7 on 7 Tournament Coach Long offered Ben a scholarship to attend San Diego State following his senior year. According to CVCS Head Football Coach Dan Dodd this is a very rare occurrence. “Most football players that are offered a scholarship are not offered until after their junior or senior seasons”, said Dodd. “Ben is a very gifted young man and is deserving of this, and I don’t think it will be the last school to offer”, concluded Dodd. Capistrano Valley Christian Schools is very proud of Ben and look forward to seeing this play itself out over the next three years.
