San Juan Capistrano Boys & Girls Club Spreads Kindness
San Juan Capistrano Boys & Girls Club participate in Rules of Kindness campaign to spread kindness throughout the community.
Members of the Boys & Girls Club of San Juan Capistrano recently worked together to spread kindness in the community by starting a Wall of Kindness, in which "If you see an Act, you Share and Act" by putting it on the wall. Every 2 weeks, for the next 6 weeks, someone who recognized an Act of Kindness or did an Act of Kindness will receive a beautiful "Keys of KINDness" dog tag.
They practice recognizing people for their strengths such as sharing a smile, being inclusive, being a volunteer in a discussion, and talk about how they can share special gifts of kindness every day.
Their effort to spread kindness is part of their participation in Rules of Kindness, a campaign hosted by generationOn encouraging kids and teens to create, share and act upon their own Rules of Kindness. The campaign runs through Monday, October 17. Participants are entered for the chance to win grants, up to $500.
