San Juan Capistrano Greek Fest Returns For 2-Day Event

This Sept. 25-26, San Juan Capistrano residents can join in on the cultural activities, tours, traditional Greek food and live music.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — San Juan Capistrano residents can get a glimpse of Greece without even having to leave southern California at the annual San Juan Capistrano Greek Festival taking place Sept. 25-26. The event is hosted by the Parish of St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church and will feature live music, delicious Greek food and drink, as well as church tours where residents can learn about Greek Orthodox faith.

Community members who participate can even learn how to take part in traditional Greek folk dance and participate in a raffle to earn prizes. There is a little something for everyone at the Greek Fest, with plenty of shopping and an activities booth for kids.

Admission for Greek Fest is $3, and unfortunately, no four-legged friends are allowed. The festival grounds are open Sept. 25, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sept. 26, noon to 9 p.m.
