From searching for missing adults to investigating suspicious behavior, here is your San Juan Capistrano Sheriff's Department at work.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Orange County Sheriff's Department deputies reminded residents about the National Child Safety and Protection Month, a nationwide effort to promote awareness to hazards our kids face every day.
Tips from the National Network of Child Care to prevent injury or death include:
- Use safety gates.
- Prepare for bedtime: Remove all soft, fluffy and loose bedding from the baby’s sleep area.
- Be mindful of plants.
- Update your exterior
- Keep things tidy
- Install door knob covers as a means to keep little hands from opening doors.
- Be cautious of choking hazards
- Brace your furniture.
- Set hot water heaters no higher than 120 degrees F

12:45 a.m.: Officers investigated a suspicious person on the 32300 block of Del Obispo Street.
7:30 a.m.: San Juan Capistrano Deputies on the 26500 block of Pas Carmel were involved in keeping the peace.

7:45 a.m.: Officers took a battery report on the 31900 block of Camino Capistrano.
9:30 a.m.: Deputies headed to the 26400 block of Briarwood Lane to investigate a burglary alarm that was going off. Officers remained in the area for about 10 minutes, investigating.
10:45 a.m.: Deputies reported to the 32500 block of Pas Adelanto for a non-injury traffic collision.
11: a.m.: San Juan Capistrano deputies kept the peace during a family dispute on the 31400 block of La Pasita.
2:30 p.m.: Officers responded to a disturbance on the 33900 block of Doheny Park Road.
5 p.m.: Deputies answered the call of a disturbance on the 32300 block of Camino Capistrano. They remained in the area just over 30 minutes.
9 to 10 p.m.: Officers made three suspicious person calls, in the area of 32800 Valle Road, Camino Las Ramblas and Las Palmas, and the 32600 block of Calle Perfecto
10:30 p.m.: Deputies took a petty theft report at the 32500 block of Alipaz Street.
11 p.m.: Officers investigated a 9-1-1 hangup.
Tuesday:
6:45 a.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Camino Capistrano and Del Obispo Street.
7 a.m.: Deputies discovered a stolen vehicle on the 32300 block of Alipaz Street.
8 to 9 a.m.: San Juan Capistrano officers investigated two audible burglary alarms, one on the 32300 block of Camino Capistrano, a second on the 33500 block of Via De Agua.
9:45 a.m.: Officers investigated a disturbance in the are of 26400 block of Woodcrest Lane.
11:30 a.m.: Deputies conducted a traffic stop where an individual was cited for reckless driving on Camino Capistrano at Del Obispo STreet.
12:30 p.m.: Officers responded to a non-injury traffic collision at Camino Capistrano and La Zanja Street.
1:30 p.m.: Deputies took a fraud report at the 31900 block of Calle Winona.
2:30 p.m.: San Juan Capistrano officers searched fora missing adult on the 32200 block of Del Obispo Street.
