Scar of the Sea Meet the Winemaker & Tasting Event
The Cellar is hosting a special tasting event on Sept 14th at 6:30pm to give attendees the chance to meet, winemaker, Mikey Giugni.
Description: The Cellar wine bar and cheese shop will feature Scar of the Sea winemaker Mikey Giugni at a “Meet the Winemaker & Tasting” event at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 14. The $50-per-person cost includes five tastings: 2013 Seven Leagues Santa Maria Valley chardonnay; 2013 Seven Leagues Santa Maria Valley pinot noir; 2013 Bien Nacido Vineyard pinot noir; 2014 Scar of the Sea Dry Hopped Cider; and 2014 Scar of the Sea California Hard Cider.
The wines will be paired with Morro Bay oysters, garden greens salad with seasonal vegetables, flatbreads, cheese and charcuterie, and Duck Confit with Bacon Braised White Beans prepared by The Cellar kitchen crew.
