SIGALERT: Multi-Car Crash In Mission Viejo, 5 Freeway South Of 73

MISSION VIEJO, CA —The 5 Freeway northbound was at a complete stop Wednesday morning in Mission Viejo after a multiple car collision in lanes just south of the 73, Calfornia Highway Patrol reports.

Drivers should seek alternate routes through the region, according to CHP.

At 8:30 a.m., a black Ford pickup truck collided with a white Ford vehicle, officers reported. Both were blocking the high occupancy vehicle lanes. Another vehicle was in the center divider in relation to the crash, they said.

It is not yet known what caused the collision, or if there are injuries related to this crash.
