SJC Community Run Returns This Weekend

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Are you looking to get out this weekend in San Juan Capistrano? The San Juan Capistrano Community Supporters group is hosting its third annual community run on Saturday, and residents of all skill levels are invited to join in on the fun.

Residents can participate in one of three running courses on Saturday, including a 1K course, 3K course and 5K competitive course for competitive runners, according to the event's website.

Courses will start and finish at Cook La Novia Park and have varying degrees of elevation, a flyer said.

Registration starts at $25 per person, with proceeds going toward local nonprofit youth organizations, the group said.

Residents can register online by visiting the group's website or in-person on the day of event until 7 a.m.
