Still No Winners in Elusive Powerball Drawing
With no winning tickets in the multi-state Powerball Lottery drawing Wednesday, and no tickets with five matching numbers the pot grows.

How much does the Powerball Lottery pot have to grow before you'll buy a ticket? It's been 17 drawings since a winning ticket was pulled. Now, with no tickets sold with all six numbers in Wednesday night's drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, the estimated jackpot for Saturday's drawing is expected to grow to $320 million.
Also, no tickets were sold with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game.
The numbers drawn tonight were 28, 41, 61, 63, 65 and the Powerball number was 7.

The estimated jackpot was $293 million.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.

The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
