Sweet and Savory Honey Cooking Class.(Fri. May,15)

Join us at The Ecology Center and learn about the benefits of this natural sweetener and how to substitute processed sugar with honey.

Our Farm to Fork adult series of cooking classes teaches you how to prepare dishes using seasonal produce you would find at your local farmer’s market or growing in your backyard! We’ll begin with a sensory exploration of The Ecology Center’s orchard, veggie and herb gardens, and end with the preparation and enjoyment of a meal.

In this Farm to Fork, we’ll taste different single varietal honeys, learn about the unique characteristics of each nectar source, harvest ingredients from the garden, review recipes, and make a variety of dishes highlighting our key ingredient: honey. Join Class
