Went for a tour of the various home models available at Senado on Sunday, talking with the staff I was given a report that some 10,000 people were there on Saturday for the tour as well. I am amazed at how many homes can fit onto the land and the roads that are being developed. For years at least the past 36 I have driven by these plots of lands and enjoyed the open pastoral views and I can say I remember when, gone are those vistas to be replaced by homes and retail shops apts. and cars. Progress is inevitable to be sure and land owners have every right to improve their property it was sad though to see how many homes and how great the impact will be.
The homes themselves are all nicely appointed with lush carpet and the newer building themes, the higher the price tag the higher the ceilings were. Most had small bedrooms and open kitchen and living areas. The ones I liked the best utilized the indoor out door living style where the old fashion slider doors are replaced with the pocket like doors. The bathrooms were all spacious taking a lot of room from the bedrooms there were a few with wet bars next to the kitchen area. Overall it will be a fine little community the first of 1400 homes to come over the next few years. Changed forever the entrance to the Ortega Highway...onward with progress!
