Slurry Project Creates Traffic Woes In Ladera Ranch

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Traffic is stalled at the intersection of Crown Valley Parkway and O'Neill Drive. California Highway Patrol reported an incident westbound Crown Valley Parkway, westbound, just east of O'Neill Drive at approximately 12:30 p.m.

"Traffic was backed up over a mile," CHP said.

The estimated time of the backup was approximately a half-hour. The county was conducting a slurry project that backed up the road according to CHP officer Reynoso.

Traffic remained slow through the area as of 1 p.m.
