Two SJH Girls Head for Masterful Finish to Track Season
The post-season continues for Chelsea Kruthers and Lexi Shaw.

With temperatures soaring high, the girls track and field team took their best on Saturday to Mt. Sac for the CIF Championships.
At the end of the day, and Lexi Shaw both earned ALL-CIF honors, placing second in their respective individual events.
Kruthers battled it close with the all-time national high school record holder Amy Weissenbach from Harvard Westlake in the Division III 800 Meter Race. Chelsea crossed the line with a time of 2:10.7, which qualifies her for the next round of CIF competition at Masters this coming Friday at Cerritos College.

Shaw raced a new personal best in the 300 hurdles with a time of 44.62, placing second in Division III, securing her the alternate position for Masters later this week.
It was a valient effort for Katie Ott in the 4×400 Relay as she joined Shaw, Kruthers and Kylee Vandenberg(who also ran the 800M earlier in the day) for the last run of the 4×400 for the season, placing sixth in Division III.
