All MBS students in grades Kindergarten through 8th participate in a day-long class retreat that they look forward to all year. The retreats provide the students a safe place to grow in their faith as they journey to become faith-filled Catholics. Recently the MBS fourth graders experienced their retreat day, which was dedicated to prayer. The students started the day with Mass in the Basilica then they moved between stations dedicated to teaching them about prayer. The fourth grade loved touring the beautiful historic Mission and learning about the saints and how they used prayer in their daily lives.
