The MBS Track Team is off to a great season! The team is comprised of students from first through eighth grade and is coached by parent volunteers. It is the largest sports team at MBS with over 40 members. They recently competed at the St. Mary’s Invitational Track Meet at San Clemente High School against twelve other participating private schools. The athletes competed in individual running events, relay events as well as long jump and softball throw. The Mission Swallows brought home many awards but the focus of the day was on the “C4” Athletic Values – Commitment, Character, Community and Competition. The team members, families and supporters cheered on each and every participant with Mission pride. It truly was a great day to be a Swallow.
