What Would You Like to See in Capo Unified's Next Superintendent?
The school district would like to know and has scheduled public forums for you to express your views.

With Joseph Farley announcing his retirement in December, the hunt is on for his replacement. Last week, trustees hired a search firm, Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, Ltd., to aid in the selection process.
But the district has also scheduled two forums to elicit public input.

The forums are scheduled from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, and Tuesday, Feb. 25 at district headquarters, 33122 Valle Road in San Juan Capistrano.
In addition, members of the community can provide feedback in an online survey that can be accessed at http://goo.gl/Q0DQvp. The survey will be live through Sunday, March 2, according to a district press release.

“The search firm will present a leadership profile and candidate criteria that is created from the information received from the focus groups, survey and forums,” according to the press release. The trustees will get a report at their March 12 school board meeting.
