2-Alarm Fire In Abandoned Industrial Building Doused (Video)

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A two-alarm fire at an abandoned industrial building in San Leandro was the sight of a known homeless encampment, according to fire officials.

The fire broke just after 10:30 p.m. Monday at the former Dan Martinelli Poultry Company on Marina Boulevard.

Alameda County Fire Department crews saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the building when they arrived on the scene.
