2 Men Arrested In Murder Of San Leandro Man
The pair were arrested on suspicion of killing 24-year-old Joseph Gormley in August. The shooting happened in Castro Valley.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Two men in their 20s have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Castro Valley in August, Alameda County sheriff's officials said Tuesday.
Joseph Gormley, a 24-year-old San Leandro resident, was sitting in a car in the 2300 block of John Court near Interstate Highways 580 and 238 around 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 9 when a man approached and opened fire, according to the sheriff's office.
Gormley died of multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect ran to a getaway vehicle but his image was captured on video surveillance cameras at houses in the area, sheriff's officials said.

David Harrison Jr., 21, and Marcus Smith, 22, were arrested for Gormley's death and are in custody at Santa Rita Jail, sheriff's officials wrote on Twitter Tuesday night.
No other information about the case was immediately available from the sheriff's office.
