Alameda County DA, Sheriff Candidate Forums Planned Next Week
The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Officers will host two candidates forums next Tuesday and Wednesday.
OAKLAND, CA — Alameda County residents will be able to meet candidates for district attorney and sheriff in two forums next week hosted by the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives and Merritt College.
On Tuesday, April 12, NOBLE’s San Francisco Bay Area chapter and Merritt College’s Administration of Justice program will host a town hall from 6 to 7:30 p.m. District Attorney candidates Pamela Price, Seth Steward, Terry Wiley, and Jimmie Wilson will present their vision for the position and field viewer questions. Incumbent DA Nancy O’Malley announced in July that she is stepping down. The Oaklandside called the race “the most open prosecutor’s election in decades.”
The location is to be determined.
