Alameda County Deputies Beating Case: Documents Leaked Online
The incident began in San Leandro last November. It's still not resolved.

SAN LEANDRO, CA - A pursuit that began in San Leandro last November and ended in San Francisco with a suspect being beaten by two Alameda County Sheriff’s Deputies remains an open case. Now, some of the documents related to the case have been obtained by KTVU.
The documents reveal that one deputy turned on dashcam video, but 11 deputies and two sergeants did not turn on body cameras during the incident.

The suspect in the case is Stanislav Petrov. Deputies spotted a stolen 2015 Mercedes, according to Alameda County sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Ray Kelly. Patrov allegedly rammed two sheriff’s vehicles, injuring a deputy, when ordered to stop.

A chase followed, with speeds hitting 100 mph on the Bay Bridge.
When asked about the beating, the deputies said they felt threatened by the suspect.
