Alameda County Firefighters Deploy To Napa
A fire that sparked early Sunday has exploded to more than 11,000 acres, burned homes, and forced hundreds of evacuations.

NAPA COUNTY — Early Sunday morning, a vegetation fire was reported in Napa County. By the time the first fire truck arrived, it had grown to 20 acres. When the sun rose on Monday, the fire had exploded to 11,000 acres, burning homes, at least one winery, and forcing the evacuation of hundreds of homes and businesses, and one hospital.
Mutual aid was rushed to Napa County, including from the East Bay. The Alameda County Fire Department posted a video on social media from one of its trucks, Engine 24, based in San Leandro.
The Glass Fire has zero containment as of Monday morning.
