Deputies didn't give chase, but later found the car using an automated license plate reader and had a sheriff's office drone keep track of it, according to the report.

The Mustang driver then drove on the wrong side of the eastbound I-580 before crashing with another car, according to the report.

Deputies eventually caught up with the Mustang after it became disabled around 150th Avenue in San Leandro, according to the report, which said nobody suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash.
