BART Police Arrest Man at Bay Fair Station
The suspect was arrested on multiple charges, according to BART police.
SAN LEANDRO, CA - A 21-year-old man was arrested this afternoon at the Bay Fair BART station in San Leandro on suspicion of possessing a replica gun in public and a probation violation, BART police said.
Erick Winston was arrested at 2:34 p.m. after a person said they saw someone in the station with a gun in their waistband, BART police Lt. Paul Kwon said.
Officers arrested Winston peacefully on a train and he was booked into the county jail.
